Avec cette nouvelle unit\u00e9, le portefeuille \u00e9olien d&rsquo;<strong>ENGIE<\/strong> en <strong>\u00c9gypte<\/strong> atteindra pr\u00e8s de <strong>2 GW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un changement d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle pour la production \u00e9olienne<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;installation de <strong>900 MW<\/strong> marque une \u00e9tape dans le d\u00e9ploiement des <strong>\u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/strong> terrestres du groupe. \u00c0 titre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, le parc voisin <strong>Red Sea Wind Energy<\/strong> (650 MW) alimente d\u00e9j\u00e0 plus d&rsquo;<strong>un million de foyers<\/strong> et permet d&rsquo;\u00e9viter l&rsquo;\u00e9mission de <strong>1,3 million de tonnes de CO2<\/strong> par an, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s les chiffres communiqu\u00e9s par <strong>ENGIE<\/strong>. Le projet de <strong>Ras Shokeir<\/strong> s&rsquo;ajoute \u00e0 ces capacit\u00e9s existantes pour augmenter la production d&rsquo;origine \u00e9olienne disponible sur le r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un engagement contractuel de 25 ans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le consortium assurera le d\u00e9veloppement via un contrat de type <strong>\u00ab\u00a0BOO\u00a0\u00bb (Build, Own, Operate \u2014 construction, d\u00e9tention, exploitation)<\/strong>. La signature d&rsquo;un contrat d&rsquo;achat d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 (<strong>PPA<\/strong>) avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9gyptienne de transport d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 (<strong>EETC<\/strong>) fixe le cadre de cette collaboration sur une dur\u00e9e de <strong>25 ans<\/strong>. Le calendrier pr\u00e9voit un <strong>bouclage financier<\/strong> avant le d\u00e9but du troisi\u00e8me trimestre <strong>2026<\/strong>, ann\u00e9e durant laquelle d\u00e9butera la <strong>construction<\/strong> du site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stabilisation du r\u00e9seau et solutions de stockage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;augmentation des puissances \u00e9oliennes s&rsquo;accompagne de dispositifs techniques destin\u00e9s \u00e0 soutenir la <strong>fiabilit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique<\/strong>. En parall\u00e8le de ce projet, le gouvernement a approuv\u00e9 des solutions technologiques compl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une centrale solaire de <strong>1,7 GW<\/strong>, port\u00e9e par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>Scatec<\/strong>, sera coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 un <strong>stockage par batteries<\/strong> de <strong>1 500 MWh <\/strong>pour fournir une puissance constante de <strong>100 MW<\/strong> sur <strong>24 heures<\/strong>. De plus, le d\u00e9ploiement de batteries \u00e9quip\u00e9es de la technologie <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Grid Forming\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9 pour soutenir la <strong>stabilit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau<\/strong> lors de l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration de ces sources d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie variables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une infrastructure avec ancrage local<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La construction du site de <strong>Ras Shokeir<\/strong> repose sur une r\u00e9partition des r\u00f4les entre les membres du consortium. L&rsquo;entreprise \u00e9gyptienne <strong>Orascom Construction<\/strong> est charg\u00e9e de l&rsquo;ex\u00e9cution des travaux de <strong>g\u00e9nie civil<\/strong> ainsi que des <strong>installations \u00e9lectriques<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mise en service du parc de <strong>Ras Shokeir<\/strong> sera progressive : une premi\u00e8re tranche de <strong>300 MW<\/strong> sera raccord\u00e9e en <strong>d\u00e9cembre 2027<\/strong>, avant une exploitation compl\u00e8te \u00e0 la <strong>mi-2028<\/strong>.
