Originaire de Californie, cette ing\u00e9nieure a \u0153uvr\u00e9 au sein de l&rsquo;ONG <em>Grid Alternatives Tribal Program<\/em>, accompagnant des nations am\u00e9rindiennes dans le d\u00e9veloppement de leur propre <strong>production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s cette premi\u00e8re mission, elle a rejoint Nancy pour int\u00e9grer le <strong>Master Erasmus Mundus DENSYS<\/strong> (<em>Decentralised Smart Energy Systems<\/em>). Coordonn\u00e9 par l\u2019<strong>Universit\u00e9 de Lorraine<\/strong> et soutenu par la Commission europ\u00e9enne, ce programme attire chaque ann\u00e9e environ 600 candidatures pour 20 places, rassemblant des \u00e9tudiants de pr\u00e8s de 50 nationalit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019ing\u00e9nierie des r\u00e9seaux de proximit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Loin du mod\u00e8le classique des grandes infrastructures centralis\u00e9es, le master DENSYS se concentre sur l\u2019\u00e9chelle locale. Durant les deux premiers semestres \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 des Sciences et Technologies de Nancy, les \u00e9tudiants approfondissent l&rsquo;<strong>ing\u00e9nierie multiphysique<\/strong> \u2014 m\u00e9canique, g\u00e9nie chimique, \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La particularit\u00e9 de ce cursus r\u00e9side dans son approche transversale, int\u00e9grant l\u2019\u00e9conomie, la g\u00e9opolitique et les sciences humaines. L&rsquo;objectif est de former des profils aptes \u00e0 concevoir des <strong>\u00ab micro-grids \u00bb<\/strong> : des r\u00e9seaux en mesure de fonctionner de mani\u00e8re autonome (<strong>off-grid<\/strong>), int\u00e9grant le stockage et la gestion de l&rsquo;intermittence des <strong>\u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/strong>. Ce cursus d\u00e9bouche sur un double dipl\u00f4me avec une universit\u00e9 partenaire europ\u00e9enne (en Su\u00e8de, Italie ou Espagne).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019alimentation \u00e9lectrique, un enjeu d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9s concr\u00e8tes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette sp\u00e9cialisation r\u00e9pond \u00e0 une urgence soulign\u00e9e par l\u2019<strong>Agence Internationale de l\u2019\u00c9nergie (IEA)<\/strong> : en 2023, 750 millions de personnes n\u2019avaient toujours pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, principalement en Afrique subsaharienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour l\u2019IEA, atteindre l\u2019<strong>\u00e9lectrification universelle<\/strong> d\u2019ici 2030 impose un changement de m\u00e9thode. Dans son sc\u00e9nario \u00ab Net Zero Emissions \u00bb (NZE), plus de la moiti\u00e9 des nouvelles connexions ne passeront pas par une extension des infrastructures historiques, mais reposeront sur des <strong>solutions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de proximit\u00e9<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>30 % via des mini-r\u00e9seaux locaux.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>25 % via des syst\u00e8mes autonomes (notamment solaires).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Au total, pr\u00e8s de 90 % de ces nouvelles installations s&rsquo;appuient sur les renouvelables. L\u2019agence souligne que l\u2019acc\u00e8s universel suppose des financements importants pour ces projets \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle dans les zones les plus isol\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Former des profils pour la transition de terrain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le cas de Vanessa Van Scyoc Hernandez rappelle que la <strong>transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique<\/strong> s\u2019appuie sur des comp\u00e9tences tr\u00e8s concr\u00e8tes.
